A Court Martial is a hearing where a member of the Armed Forces is tried in a Military Court having been accused of committing a criminal offence. Military Courts can deal with minor cases or more complex cases where long custodial sentences can be imposed.

It is particularly important to have good specialist representation as the penalties can be severe, but also because a conviction can have an impact on the career of the serviceman or woman.
